This fiery hot sauce, also known as the “rooster sauce”, had become a mainstream condiment that brings a distinct kick of spicy flavor to many popular dishes. However, keto dieters always ask the question – Can I have sriracha on keto?

Can I Have Sriracha On Keto?

One serving of sriracha (1 teaspoon) contains only 5 calories and 1 gram of carbohydrate from sugar. If you’re restricting yourself to 20g of net carbs per day, then a small amount of sriracha should not have a big impact or kick you out of ketosis. So yes, sriracha is keto as long as you use it in moderate amounts and you keep track of your daily macros, particularly carbohydrates.

Most people who are following the keto diet restrict their carb intake to 20g per day. You can use an online keto macro calculator to get your personal macros for a keto diet.

You can easily miscalculate your serving quantity if you directly squeeze the sriracha bottle into your food. Thus, we recommend that you measure each dash with a teaspoon (one serving size) so you can accurately track the carbs you’re getting from the sriracha.
